DEFYING THE ODDS

It's a wonder to behold planes take off and land.....

Planes are able to fly because their turbo engines emit thrust or energy that defies gravity; it exceeds the drag (or air resistance) that would pull it back or down. Also, the wings produce lift because air speed is increased where there is a region of low pressure. Without a sophisticated formula of physics and aerodynamics, flight would be impossible. In fact, the slightest change in air pressure, speed, and thrust could jeopardize a mission. PLANES DEFY MANY ODDS!

It's a wonder to see a handmaiden faithfully serve her Lord......

Sisters, we are very much like a plane in flight. Our mission is impossible without Heaven's intervention. Each day the Lord breathes life into our hearts and homes and carries us through the day. We exist in the palms of His hands. We are upheld by cords of love that suspend from His heart. We survive and thrive because of God.

Without the Lord's supportive factors, we cannot stay afloat or a flight. We need a mixture of prayer, patience, and faith to persevere. Our spiritual weapons of warfare are also essential for our journeys.

Prayer is so important. Prayer defies logic and reason; it defies the limitations of our thoughts and ways. Prayer invokes God's presence. Prayer welcomes Heaven into our lives and situations. Prayer pipes hope, power, and love straight from the Lord's throne room into our hearts. WITH PRAYER AND THANKSGIVING, WE DEFY MANY ODDS!

Let's be careful to pray DAILY! Let's be mindful to prayer for one another! There is power in prayer! When we come in agreement with God's word, His will, and His way, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!
