A READY SMILE!

Proverbs 17:22 KJV
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Dearest Survivors,

Do you ever recall hearing that it requires more muscles to frown than smile? Well, can you imagine the burden on our muscular hearts when we harbor things therein that makes us frown rather than smile! I'm sure that a heavy heart is more taxing than a cheerful heart. "A merry heart doeth good."

As survivors, we must guard our hearts. The issues of life flow from them. Matters of the heart can overwhelm us and steal our smile-i-ness. Protect your heart AND you in turn protect your smile. Smiling can alleviate much! A smile is so much more than an upside down frown....

A beautiful, radiant smile is invaluable to us!!!! It's beneficial to our kiddos, and even bystanders. It feels sooooo good to smile. Smiling makes us feel good and it makes others feel good. Smiling is refreshing!

Smiling is contagious. A smiling pandemic would be absolutely PERFECT! Have you stopped to take notice of how often you smile or NOT?? Friends, I dare you to smile. I dare you to think upon things that get you smiling (Phil. 4:8) AND keep you smiling. HAPPY SMILING!

By and large, smiling makes us look better. Who doesn't mind looking better? Take inventory of your photos! Query your friends! Do they agree that you look better when you smile?!! In fact, there may be a certain smile that you wear that is more bedazzling and gorgeous than the others. WEAR-IT-DAILY!!! Smiling is a beauty enhancement. It's one of the most important accessories that we have. Smile--don't start the day without your UPGRADE!

A smile doesn't cost us anything and yet it can yield an incredible return. Smiling is a health investment. Smiling regulates our blood pressure. It's releases the stress hormone, cortisol, from our bodies. Smiling reduces tensions...

So many people are hurt and hopeless. A smile can put others at ease; it can bridge the gap between two strangers. A smile can afford us opportunities to meet new friends, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, or serve another. We can utilize our smile to overcome the kingdom of darkness.

One fellow friend was a distinguished recipient of an award that praised her for her prized "Ready Smile." How cool is that?!!! I'm so glad that someone took a moment to notice the beauty, wonder, and importance of her "Ready Smile." A "Ready Smile" is an invaluable asset and a powerful weapon. We all NEED a ready smile in our arsenal. Ready, set, smile.....

Love and New Year blessings

Hugs
