FREEDOM

Mark 16:9 KJV
Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

Dearest Sister Survivors,

Mark 16:9 is a blessed passage. It reveals an indication and reminder of God's incredible, enduring love for us. The Lord loves us Ladies!!!!! The Lord is for us!!!!!! There is NOTHING about us that God cannot redeem. God does not forsake us because of the divorce, trauma, and distress we endured. He loves us wholly and completely.

The Lord wants us to give ourselves to Him. He wants to restore, redeem, refresh and renew us. We do not have to hide from Him. He is not repelled nor repulsed by our past nor our present challenges. Skeletons in our closets, tormenting devils, secret sins, abuses, and misuses etc DO NOT run God off in the same manner that perhaps some people run off. The Lord is faithful! He wants to help us through our issues!

The world over women are despised, forsaken, and rejected, especially divorced women. Somehow we are cast out, rejected, scorned, and shamed for circumstances beyond our control. Yet, Christ comes to us in our darkest, desperate moments and breathes hope into our lives. Christ comes to dwell among us because His strength is perfected in our weakness. The Lord is near to the broken-hearted. The Lord is near to us.

Christianity is the sole religion that esteems women because the Author and Finisher of our faith esteemed women. The Lord Jesus cast seven devils out of Mary Magdalene. The Lord befriends Mary and invited to serve others alongside Him. She faithfully served Christ throughout his earthly ministry and even after His ascension.

According to the Gospel of Mark, the risen Christ first appeared to Mary. What an honor Mary beheld to first witness Christ after his return from 'the dead.' There is a HUGE reward due those that serve God. But, before we can passionately and effectively serve, we must come to Him openly, honestly, and transparent. We must resolve our issues.

Ladies, we do not have to carry old issues, baggage, and even devils any longer. Seek the Lord! He wants to help you! I want to help you! God wants to minister to you! I want to minister to you. The Lord God wants to set you free so that you can freely, boldly, and powerfully walk in your calling as single mothers and survivors. God wants to bless you so that you can bless your children. A 'free' mother is more available and attuned to her kiddos than a mother than is bound and imprisoned by myriad things. Freedom is yours for the taking! God is for YOU!!!

Love and blessings

Hugs
