PRAY IT FORWARD

2 Chronicles 6:14-16KJV
14 And said, O Lord God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts:
15 Thou which hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him; and spakest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.
16 Now therefore, O Lord God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me.
Dearest beautiful mamas,
HAPPY TUESDAY!!!!!
I want to impress upon us the power of prayer. Many of us are benefiting today from prayers that were prayed for us and over us many, many years ago by our parents and grandparents. God is a faithful, loyal God. He hears every prayer that His children pray and He answers them right on time. Some prayers are answered immediately and other times, prayers are uttered in one generation yet fulfilled in another.
Thank God for praying parents and grandparents!!! We are constantly reaping the fruit of their prayers and other labors of love. Let's be mindful to "pray it forward." Its good and awesome to pray for our children and grandchildren.
The lives, and reigns, of Kings David and Solomon beautifully illustrates God's faithfulness to not only the Israelites, but also a godly family line. In Chronicles, we discover how promises and prayers offered in one generation were fulfilled in another. Glory hallelujah! God is faithful and just!
Ladies, I encourage you all to keep planting seeds of hope and faith by praying for your families. We walk by faith and NOT sight, so never dig up in doubt, what you planted in hope. Remember, there is a season for planting and a season for harvesting. Likewise, there is a season for praying and another season for the fulfillment of prayers. Just because you don't see a quick answer to your prayers, doesn't mean that God hasn't heard you. What's planted in one generation may be harvested in another!! Keep praying!!! Keep hoping!!! Keep believing!!!
Have you ever been in a desperate situation and, seemingly out of the blue, a timely solution rescued you? Perhaps that was God's answer to one of your grandparents' prayers for YOU. Have you meet a stranger that miraculously offered you exactly what you needed, without any questions or qualm, without any strings attached? I wonder if you experienced the answer to one of your parents' prayers over YOU. God is constantly at work, night and day, and generation after generation, ordering our paths and answering the fervent prayers of the righteous.
The Lord has carried us all through the stormy, raging seas of separation and divorce. We are survivors! Glory hallelujah! Never doubt for a moment that our survivorship was an answer to our parents' and grandparents' prayers! When we were too weak and weary to pray for ourselves, their prayers spurred us along! Glory to God!
The Book of Esther is yet another example of God's fulfilled multi-generational promises; the peril experienced by Jews in Esther's generation is met with a miraculous reprieve due to fasting and prayers of their own generation, coupled with the prayers of those that had gone before them.
Thank God almighty for praying mothers and fathers! Thank God almighty for praying grandfathers and grandmothers! We, their offspring and progeny, are a testament to their faith and hope in a loving, faithful, and loyal Heavenly Father! Like our parents and grandparents, and like David and Solomon, let's model a multi-generational faith. Our kiddos and grandkiddos NEED our intercessory prayers!
Pray it forward! What lies dormant in Winter, bursts forth in Spring! God is constantly always answering prayers!!! Plant your prayers in the fertile soil of faith and hope; then wait for those seedlings to burst forth with life and purpose. Remember, God is ALWAYS working ALL things together for good.....for YOUR good.
Love and blessings
Hugs
